    • What does switching to Specialist IT Services actually involve?

      We handle the transition for you. That includes reviewing your current setup, coordinating with any existing providers, and moving everything across in a structured way. The goal is a smooth handover without disruption to your day-to-day operations.

    • Will there be downtime when we move across?

      In most cases, no. Transitions are planned to minimise disruption, and much of the work can be done in the background. If any changes require scheduled downtime, it’s discussed and agreed in advance.

    • Do we need to replace our existing systems?

      Not necessarily. We work with what you have and only recommend changes where there are clear benefits to improve performance, security, or reliability.

    • How do you handle businesses with multiple locations or sites?

      We manage multi-site environments as one connected system. That means consistent performance, centralised management, and secure access across all locations. We have worked with many companies who haver offices across multiple sites, including doctors operating out of different hospitals. Depending on your unique circumstances there are a number of options that may be best suited for you.

    • Can you support both Mac and PC environments?

      Yes, we are specialists when it comes to supporting multiple platforms for your business. In fact, we have a page dedicated to our process here. Find at more on our Mac page.

    • What type of businesses do you work best with?

      We work best with businesses that rely on their IT day-to-day and have outgrown reactive support. Typically this includes professional services, healthcare, trades, and growing multi-site organisations. We are not the best fit for things like at-home IT support.
